Things to consider when designing your chassis mount dog box.
Dog Truck Side View
A number of things to notice from the side view.
First, rear most dog hole is standard size. I put the bitches in the rear holes. In contrast, the front two holes are two inches taller than normal. This allows larger males like Ace and Zowie to sit in the holes without needing to scrunch down.
Second, note the large breezeway area. This permits a great deal of air flow into the kennels during those hot summer field trials.
Third, note tip out bumper storage with dividers to separate bumpers by color.
Fourth, in first closet, sliding drawers allow you to store clothing such as shorts and t-shirts. I place jackets, pants, etc. on hangers in second (rear most) closet. The hanger slides out to permit easy access to clothing.
Bumper Storage
In the bumper storage area - which is spectacular - I store my Hi Lift Jack, shovels, sledge, tie out stakes, and umbrella stand.
Rear Storage Cabinet
This shows the rear storage closet closed. Note license plate - FRERIDN.
This shows rear storage box open. I found this was not a good place to store guns, collars, etc. Because it is at the very rear of the truck, the ride is rough and things get tossed around pretty hard. I ended up pulling the shelves and putting dog food in waterproof stuff sacks here.

Tell me tho, where is your spare? And do you not have a platform for bird boxes? And no ladder to the roof? Why did you forgo these things?

1) Spare is under truck as with OEM F350
2) Ladder is on back – you can see its profile in bumper storage photo
3) I have sliding bar on roof rack to hold bird crates in place
