TEXAS TRAINING - FUN WATER BLINDS
Wind blowing very hard from left to right
This was one fun blind.
Shoot flyer on the right.
Then shoot winger bird on left. Send dog for winger bird (which is located so that dogs run along water, but do not get wet)
Then run blind
Line to blind is on first point
Then past island in water
Then past second point
Then on third point
Back in water
On dike (planted bird sack on left)
Into water
Stay in water until fourth point
On and off fourth point
Drive to far shore
This blind was a hoot. When the dogs got on that fourth point and looked at all that water yet to traverse - then the fun began
Cherylon ran Buffy - who was fabulous for a baby.
Shoot flyer. Pick up flyer.
Shoot winger. Select off winger bird.
Buffy selected off nice and easy. No muss, no fuss.
Got in water and swam through channel
Started to hook around island
Right back put her on point.
Stopped her
Left back took her up and over dike
Stayed in water until fourth point.
Wanted to swim around point.
Then got on and off.
Little bit of a yo-yo
But then off across the water
I was amazed at how well she did.
It looks like Buffy is going to be a player also
