Order is
Right, Middle, then Flyer. If you look at the left edge of the photo, you can just barely see the left hand flyer station. Middle gun is on dike between trees in front of water. Right gun is by brown brush pile. Middle and right guns retire.
Right Bird is by the brown brush pile. Thrown from right to left, then retires.
Middle bird is on the dike. Thrown from right to left. Bird lands by log at shoreline. The log on the left by the edge of the tree.
Left bird is flyer. Thrown from right to left.
Some dogs hunted the flyer hard. Most did not.
A few dogs hunted the right hand bird. Most did not. Tree line on left and fence line on right tended to keep the dogs from getting lost.
Most dogs hunted the middle bird. Some went up over and hunted in the meadow. Some went left, then hooked right. Some went right then hooked left.
Most people picked the birds up flyer, right, middle.
I chose flyer, middle, right.
